Per K. Sørensen delivers the 2013 Khyentse Lecture

March 2013

Approximately 80 people attended the 2013 Khyentse lecture by Per K. Sørensen of Leipzig University, Germany. In his lecture, entitled "Old Chang in New Bottles," Prof. Sørensen offered new insights into the formation and rise of the Dalai Lama lineage. Preceding Sorensen's talk, UC Berkeley student Jenna Irena Pollack received the Khyentse Foundation’s Award for Excellence in Buddhist Studies from the foundation’s Executive Director Cangioli Che.
