Bio/CV: 

Howard Mu received a B.A. in Philosophy, and Government and Legal Studies from Bowdoin College (2018), and an M.A. in Asian Studies from UC Berkeley (2021). He is primarily interested in Abhidharma and Madhyamaka thought in India and China. His research is focused on the Cheng shi lun 成實論 tradition and its relationship to the Sanlun 三論 tradition in medieval Chinese Buddhism.

Research interests: 

Buddhist philosophy, especially Chinese Madhyamaka thought.; Jizang and his commentaries on Indian Madhyamaka treatises.
